  Amazing location in Almondsbury a few minutes from the motorway but feels as though you are in the middle of nowhere so quiet. Really nice food, plenty of choice, everybody was happy and full. Could do with more choices of ales for my taste. The bath gem was lovely until it ran out! Will be back soon.

  Lovely old pub. Was a monks dormitory as next to church. Is a B&B. Nice meals, quiet village, outside seating and big car park opposite.

  A pleasant pub offering good beer, but spoilt by poor service at the bar. I have grown use to waiting patiently whilst the one person behind the bar deals with meal orders or payments. Last night, in spite of having three people behind the bar it was difficult to get their attention even when they were not serving anyone else. When I succeeded in getting served, the person broke off getting me my pint to continue her conversation with her friends.
